Not everyone in Ireland would know where President Michael D Higgins new “Miggeldy” nickname came from. A young Irish school kid was hilariously wrong when asked 'Who is the President of Ireland?'. During a classroom test, the student put pencil to paper answering: "Miggeldy Higens." That kid created a fantastic name for a new mini-me doll of Ireland’s president, Michael D Higgins. 

“I was selling Michael Tea Higgins for over half a year already. I was never afraid to take on any new challenges to make different and unique character dolls or teapot cosies. There are so many opportunities and endless ideas in the world, just need to find the time to make them! I just knew I had to create a small version of my Michael Tea, as a little souvenir to all those Irish people who adore their President.” - JK

We realise not everyone has a teapot at home, or even likes tea, so our Michael T Higgins cosy may not be suitable for everyone. However! This little guy - Miggeldy - is a nice and cute present to all Irish hearts.
